Introduction

The Subaru Impreza Outback Sport is roomy and comfortable and can go almost anywhere. It offers premium technology, lots of safety features, and excellent handling and all-weather capability. A more rugged version of the Impreza, the Outback Sport should be attractive to those who want some of the Outback's capabilities for a more affordable price.

The Outback Sport is a five-passenger wagon powered by a 170-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder that teams with a standard five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is standard. Safety features on all models include dual front airbags, front side-impact airbags, and seatbelts with pre-tensioners for the front seats. Antilock brakes comes standard and features four sensors and four channels.

The Subaru Impreza Outback Sport has undergone an exterior redesign along with its Impreza brethren, while retaining most of its interior and mechanical features.
