2009 Subaru Tribeca Overview
Introduction
The Tribeca received a facelift and a new engine for 2008. For 2009, the Tribeca carries-on essentially unchanged.
Two versions of the Tribeca are available: a five-passenger and a seven-passenger. Both share the same powertrain, a 256-horsepower, aluminum, 3.6-liter flat-six driving all four wheels full time through a five-speed automatic that features manual sequential shift control. Each is available in standard and Limited trim, with the Limited adding features like leather upholstery, moonroof, heated front seats, 6-disc CD and 9 speakers - including a subwoofer. Safety features include dual-stage frontal airbags, seat-mounted side impact airbags, curtain airbags, active head restraints, and a tire pressure monitor.

five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and
one star indicating the least protection.
